There are many clam shacks and lobster shacks along the coasts of New England. One of our favorite places to eat boiled lobsters is Roy Moore Lobster Co. in Rockport, MA.
It is located right on the picturesque Bearskin Neck, looks exactly like a "shack" should look like, and has the best price for the freshest lobster around Boston. These lobsters are so tasty, the best way to eat them is with just a little sprinkle of lemon.
We got lucky this year. This year, the lobsters are so cheap, they're cheaper than chicken!
Most lobster shacks will close from November to April, so we'll be going there as much as possible for the rest of season!
